Help Me Too!

You may have recently read how others have been paying off their high debts by contributions made by others over the internet.  Do you have high debt too?  Well, now you, too, can pay it off with your own cyberbegging web site.  Here are easy steps to starting your own cyberbegging web site.

Find a place to host your site.

Most ISPs (internet service providers) provide space for personal website use.  This is generally provided within the cost of the ISP service and will be one of the most inexpensive ways to go.  For a more professional look, you may want to register your own domain name, like http://www.yourdominnamegoeshere.com.  This may look better than the free space from your ISP which may look more like http://homepage.isp.com/directory/directory/~yourusername.  However, registering your own domain name will incur more cost.  There are some providers, though, that will register your name and provide very basic hosting for less than $30 a year.

Tell your story.

More and more cyberbegging sites are popping up everyday.  To be more effective, you may want to come up with creative ideas on how to tell your story.  This may include bizarre reasons for being in debt, something you may desire (like plastic surgery), or any other creative reason.  The key is to give visitors a reason to come to your site, stay at your site, and hopefully donate.

Offer ways to donate.

If you want money, then you will need to provide a way for people to get it too you.  One of the more popular methods is buy using Paypal.  You will need to set up an account with them if you do not have one already.   This will allow others to use credit cards to deposit funds into your account.  Other ways may include a postal address to send cash payments, or listing items on your web site that you may have for sale.  Items can be listed on auction sites, too, such as ebay.  You then can provide a link to those items on your web site.

Put it together.

If you are not skilled at building web sites, you may want to take advantage of a number of tools available that will make this task simple.  The first place to start is with the provider that is hosting your site.  These tools generally are easy to use at the sacrifice of offering only basic design features.  However, your site may be more effective by keeping things simple and easy to follow.  Sometime too much clutter can lose visitor interest and cause them to move away from your site.

Stay tuned next week, for more details on cyberbegging.

If you have any kindness in your heart, please consider a small donation, so I can pay my bills and help others to pay their bills too.  Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
